"Michelle has the voice of an angel, she and Nick harmonise beautifully and Nick is a wizz on any type of guitar that you’d care to name.
And, for Cropredy, Plumhall pulled out all the stops; they were supplemented by father-and-son pair David and James Crickmore on, respectively, keyboard/bass and drums. Their sound was magnificent.
The Plumhall message has got around the Cropredy crowd and they received an eager welcome as they launched into opening number, Crystal Ball. Lost London Rivers is a standout track from the band’s recent One Star Awake album and the drums and bass added real presence to Michelle’s and Nick’s vocal harmonies."
At The Barrier Cropredy 2025 review

"Great melodies, perfect harmonies, sing a long choruses, and intelligent lyrics their hallmark. “Blimey they’re like Buckingham Nicks,” said a punter within earshot after some particularly tasty lead from Nick Hall... PlumHall produced attractive rock of a high quality. No doubt new fans were gained in numbers."

“Their chemistry as a duo makes them special with sumptuous vocal harmonies and telepathic guitar interactions. Michelle is one of the UK’s leading chanteuses. Nick is a consummate storyteller, powerful vocalist and exceptional guitarist.”
Dave Scott - Blues In Britain Magazine
